Chesapeake Midstream Partners, L.P. Announces Secondary Public Offering of Common Units by Global Infrastructure Partners

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oct 11, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Chesapeake Midstream Partners, L.P. (NYSE:CHKM) today announced the commencement of an underwritten public offering of 10 million common units representing limited partner interests owned by Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP). GIP has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1.5 million additional common units.

 

The Partnership will not receive any of the net proceeds from this offering, and the number of outstanding common units will remain unchanged. The offering will be made under the Partnership's effective shelf registration statement on Form S-3, as amended, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Barclays Capital, Wells Fargo Securities, BofA Merrill Lynch and RBC Capital Markets are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
